Who I am
Ghost Nodes is run by Benoit Jobard, a sole trader in the UK, who decides how your data is used. Contact: [email protected]. Address: [business address]. Data protection fee registration number: [ICO number].
What I collect, and why
- Your name, email and country when you buy: to deliver the kit, send your receipt and handle refunds. Legal basis: contract.
- Your order record: to keep my accounts and meet tax rules. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- What you write when you email me: to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
I do not see or keep your card details. Payhip, Stripe and PayPal handle payment.
Who sees it
Payhip (shop and delivery), Stripe or PayPal (payment), my email provider, and my accountant. Some of these process data outside the UK under the safeguards UK law requires. I never sell your data.
Emails
I only send you the delivery email and replies to your messages. If I start a newsletter, I will ask you first, and every email will have an unsubscribe link.
How long I keep it
Order records for six years, for tax. Emails for as long as we are talking, then up to two years.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how I use it. Email me and I will reply within a month. If you are not happy with my answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
